THE CARBBENCH BENCH SERVICE

Focused on
the carburetor.

We do not diagnose or repair the complete machine, remove or install carburetors on equipment, diagnose ignition, compression or intake problems, or perform vehicle-specific final tuning. Servicing the carburetor does not guarantee it will resolve the machine's underlying problem.

Disassemble, clean & verifyComplete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, jet and passage verification, component inspection and compressed-air cleaning/drying.

Reassemble & documentReassembly with serviceable components, recording/restoring appropriate baseline or as-received settings, and a record of completed work.

You supply replacement componentsWe identify issues and contact you when parts are needed. You may provide the correct rebuild kit or components for installation. CarbBench does not source or purchase parts.

PREPARE FOR THE TRIP

Pack carefully.
Send it dry.

Do not ship a carburetor containing gasoline. Check your carrier's requirements for used fuel-system components before shipping; these packing tips do not replace those requirements.

  1. Drain all fuel. Collect fuel in an approved container. In a safe, well-ventilated area away from flames, sparks and heat, allow residual fuel to evaporate before packaging. Do not use heat to speed drying.
  2. Protect delicate parts. Cushion fragile fittings, linkages, floats, electrical components and any protruding parts so they cannot be bent or crushed.
  3. Bag only after it is dry. Place the dry carburetor in a sealed plastic bag. Separately secure and label any supplied components.
  4. Wrap and box securely. Use appropriate padding and a sturdy cardboard shipping box. Fill gaps so the carburetor cannot move. Do not rely on loose packing peanuts.
  5. Include your information sheet. Put your completed CarbBench intake sheet and any assigned reference/order information inside the package.
  6. Use tracked shipping. Confirm CarbBench's shipping address first, then arrange and pay inbound shipping. Keep your tracking information.

No. Carburetor service may not resolve the machine's underlying issue. We do not diagnose the complete machine, ignition, compression or intake problems, or perform vehicle-specific final tuning.

How will I know when my carburetor ships back?

We contact you using your intake details and provide return tracking when available. Let us know about any address change before return shipment.
